Obituary

Vergennes, VT Winona L. Morin, 79 was called home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Porter Health Care and Rehabilitation Center where she leaves behind her husband of 54 years. She was born on 9/11/33 at Mary Fletcher Hospital in Burlington, VT. The daughter of Ilene (St. George) Little and Donald Little. "Nonie" graduated from High School in 1951. Nonie was married in 1958 to David Francis Morin from Newport, VT. She was a secretary at Simmonds Precision. Nonie and David moved to Columbus, OH where they spent the early years of their marriage. Nonie got a job as secretary at Lennox Corporation. David and Nonie moved back home where Nonie got a job at Northlands Job Corps. She became "JACS" Coordinator where she worked for over 25 years. Nonie was a Christian, Bible believing woman who was a member of the Valley Bible Church in East Middlebury where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School for years. Nonie spent most of her life serving others, including the loves of her life David Peter and Alex. Nonie was predeceased by her beloved mother Ilene by only 11 months, and by her Father Donald and her brother Gilbert (Sonny). Nonie leaves her husband David, a daughter Renee McClellan, and 2 grandsons in Vergennes, a sister, Robin Little-LeBeau in Addison, a brother Donald Little of So. Burlington, 3 foster sisters Cindy Burnett of Middlebury, Beth Elzinga of Salmon, ID, and Nancy Warner of Port Henry, NY along with all their spouses. Funeral services will be held at Valley Bible Church in East Middlebury at 1 pm Saturday, October 13, 2012. Pastor Ed Wheeler and Pastor Eric Carter will be officiating the service. There will be fellowship following the service downstairs at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations to Porter Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Nonie's Memory would be appreciated.
