Shoreham, VT William Harris William Harris, 83, died Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Fletcher Allen Healthcare, Burlington following a period of failing health. Born January 20, 1926 in Manhattan, NY, he was the son of the late Sidney and May (Moskowitz) Harris. Bill was a WWII veteran and taught classics at Middlebury College for 32 years prior to retirement. Family members include his wife, Min Harris of Shoreham; two sons, James Harris of Somerville, MA and John Harris of West Hartford, CT. Private funeral services will be conducted at Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, 117 South Main St. Middlebury. Spring burial will be at the Middlebury Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Shoreham First Response, P.O. Box 202, Shoreham, VT 05770.
