Cornwall, VT Todd Robert Patch 42, died unexpected Wednesday April 18, 2012. He was born July 21, 1969 in Rutland, VT; he was the son of Thomas W. and Patricia A. (Powell) Patch. Todd was a graduate of whitcomb High School, Bethel and furthered his education at New Hampshire Technical College receiving an Associates degree in Automotive Technology. He was employed in the Maintenance Department at Hannaford Career Center, Middlebury. Todd was an avid N.A.S.C.A.R. and Boston Red Sox fan, he enjoyed hiking, hunting, kayaking, snowmobiling, cars, working out and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Patch, of Rutland, his sons, Scott T. Patch and Ryan Patch, both of Rutland, by his granddaughters, Lillianna and Seraya Patch, of Rutland, by his paternal grandmother, Doris Patch, of Rutland Town, by his wife Sonya (Caswell) Patch, and her children, Ben and Marie, all of Bethel. By his brothers, Thomas W. Patch Jr, of Rutland, Timothy Patch, of Killington and Trever Patch, of Bethel, also by several aunts, uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and by a special grand niece C.J. , He was predeceased by his father Thomas W. Patch Sr., on September 23, 2009 A memorial service will be held on Wednesday April 25, 2012 at 2 P.M., at the Mendon United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ron Sherwin will officiate. Memorial contributions in memory of Todd may be made to the Automotive Technical Class at Hannaford Career Center at 51 Charles Ave. Middlebury, VT 05753.
