Obituary

Thomas A Charbonneau, born on May 6th 1940 to George and Gladys Charbonneau, passed away Sunday evening surrounded by his loving family. Tom worked for the Chittenden Trust Company bank for 20 plus years, Dwyer Office Furniture, and before retiring completely he served as Bridport Town Treasurer. Tom was known for his wonderful sense of humor, his quiet demeanor, generosity, and known to his immediate family as a snappy dresser when attending weddings and funerals. Tom enjoyed playing softball, volleyball, and being Master of Ceremonies at the family roasts. Tom was a very independent person who never complained. He is predeceased by Pat his wife of 52 years. He is survived by his 5 children, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, his sister Marcia, and many nieces and nephews. Tom left behind many fond memories and lots of smiles. Visiting hours are Friday August 12th 5:00 pm 7:00 pm at Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, 117 South Main Street in Middlebury. There will be a get together at the Vergennes Legion from 7:30 pm to In lieu of flowers please send donations to Addison County Home Health & Hospice.
