VERGENNES - Theresa J. Brown, 72, passed away Thursday, May 10th, 2012 at Helen Porter Healthcare and Rehab Center. Born in Northfield, VT August 18, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Maria (LeFabvre) Goyette. Among her many interests Theresa enjoyed gardening, cooking, sushi, crossword puzzles, bingo, yahtzee and watching game shows, store couponing, listening to country music and especially her love of cats. Theresa is survived by her sons Raymond Brown and Eddie Brown, her daughters Jean and husband Dan Bushey, Diane Hodgdon, Denise Jackson, twenty grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, She is predeceased by her daughter Maria Brown, by her brothers Edward Goyette and Francis Goyette and by a grandson, Billy Joe Avery. She was predeceased by her companion Marcel LaFlamme. A funeral service will be held May 19, 2012 at 1 PM at Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, 117 South Main St., Middlebury. The Rev. Yvon J. Royer, pastor of St. Peters Catholic Church, Vergennes will officiate. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the Addison County Humane Society, 236 Boardman St., Middlebury, VT 05753.
