A beautiful smile and earthly light was extinguished on May 17, 2016 when Thelma Ruth (Beers) Denett departed peacefully from her home in Bridport, VT. We are heartbroken and console ourselves that an angel is now watching over us til we are reunited. Thelma was born in Hampton, New York on September 15, 1925 to Thomas Ross Beers and Thelma Evelyn Collins. She was a strong, hard working woman that married Richard Victor Denett, Sr. on December 4, 1944 in Troy, NY. Later they ran a dairy farm in Bridport, VT where her door was always open to visiting family. She was the treasurer of the Champlain Valley Fiddlers Club and volunteered at the Bridport Senior Meal Site. She made the best homemade donuts, and had the best sense of humor with her favorite quote being "With My Fingers" when you asked her how she was feeling.
