Steven Christopher Parsons, a native of the Northeast Kingdom, VT and a recent resident of Middlebury, VT, passed away at the age of 41. Steven fought a long and courageous battle with mental illness. The pain became unbearable and his journey ended on June 17, 2024.

Steven was charismatic, hard working, and loved others more than himself, helping others anytime he was able. He loved fishing and skipping rocks with his boys, whom he loved more than anything in the world. He also enjoyed farming and operating heavy equipment.

He is survived by his sons, Jacob and Owen Parsons, and their mother, Jessica Griffith of Sparta, TN; siblings, Tina Schultz, Tracey Abbey, Todd Jones, and Kristy Parsons Lefebvre; nieces and nephews, Bobby, Keri, and Joshua McNally, Tony Deth, Colin and Connor Lee, Tyler McLain, Tristan, Ryleigh and Piper Lefebvre; and father figure, Alan Wheatley of Brookfield, VT. He was preceded in death by his parents, Scott Parsons and Rose Austin; and sister, Lisa Williamson.
