Shirley Anita LaMothe, 89, lifelong resident of Middlebury died Tuesday February 28, 2023. She and her sister Charlotte were the first twins born at Porter Hospital on April 27, 1933 the daughters of Robert and Wanita (Stowe) Leggett. Shirley was a graduate of Middlebury Union High School class of 1953. She retired from Middlebury College and then worked for 10 years at TJ Maxx. She is survived by her four daughters and their families. Visiting hours will be held Monday, March 6, 2023 from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 am at Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home located at 117 South Main Street, Middlebury. The Rev.
