Sadie P. Stowe 68, died Wednesday morning September 6, 2017 at her home in Ripton. She was born February 28, 1949 in Middlebury the daughter of Ralph and Helena (Lathrop) Peck. She was a graduate of Beeman Academy High School. Sadie was a member of the New Haven Congregational Church where she was a former Deacon and belonged to the choir; she was also a member of the D.A.R. and enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and crocheting. She is survived by her husband Robert A. Stowe who she married June 16, 1968 in New Haven, by her sons, Jason Stowe and wife Jennifer of Pepperell, MA and Thad Stowe and wife Tiffany of Weybridge, by her sister, Ramona Morse and her brother John Peck both of Ripton, by her grandchildren, Madelyn and Dylan Stowe. Also by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Mary Peck. Graveside services were held on Saturday September 9, 2017 in Prospect Cemetery in East Middlebury. The Rev. Ed Hilbert officiated.
