Ruth S. Miller 89, died early Monday morning October 31, 2016 at her residence in Middlebury. She was born February 5, 1927 in Bristol, VT, the daughter of Clinton and Esther (Lawrence) Steadman. Ruth was a member of the New Horizon Club and the Robert Frost Society. She enjoyed Bingo, traveling, sewing, knitting caps for cancer patients, cards and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Gary Miller & wife Edna, of Middlebury, Patricia Martin & husband James, of Northboro, MA, Laura Gibson and husband Lane, of Williston, Ann Wodziak & husband John of Barrington, RI, Joseph Miller & wife Mary of Orwell, Paul Miller & wife Hope of Grafton, MA, Pamela Morelock & husband Rob of Quakertown, PA., brother-in-law Richard Miller and wife Beverly, sister-in-law Elizabeth Steadman, a very close and special nephew James Sperry and a close cousin Greta Selleck. Also by her nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Amos Miller who died July 15, 2004 and by her brother's, Lewis and Edson Steadman. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday November 5, 2016 at 2 P.M. at the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, located at 117 South Main Street, Middlebury, VT 05753. The Rev.
