Rolland Lucien Cloutier 80, formerly of Whiting, died November 24, 2020 peacefully at his home after a long illness.
He was born July 28, 1940 in Crysler Ontario, Canada the son of Theophile and Flore (Richer) Cloutier.
He came to the USA 1961 and later became a citizen.
Rolland volunteered many years for The Whiting Fire Department, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree.
After growing up with 8 light hearted siblings he always found time to joke and prank with family, friends and co-workers. He earned himself 20 yrs. of retirement where he continued his passions, camping as a member of the Good Sam Club and traveling to Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Judith (Desrocher) Cloutier, children Karen Cloutier and Paul (Ali) Cloutier, grandchildren Michael, Quinton and Victoria. And sister Estelle and brother Eugene, many nieces and nephews in Canada and the U.S.
Predeceased by his parents and by his son Ronald Cloutier, by his brothers Lionel, Firmin, Hector, Armond, Ernest and sister Cecile.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday December 2, 2020 at 10 A.M. in St. Marys Cemetery, Middlebury, with the Rev. Luke Austin as the Celebrant.
