Roderick E. Devoid Jr. Roderick E. Devoid Jr 57 of Cornwall died at home, unexpectedly on July 31, 2013. He is survived by his son Michael Devoid and his wife Emily of Fort Drum, NY his parents Roderick and Janet (Chamberlain) Devoid Sr., his sisters; Cathy Morgan of Middlebury, Linda Regula and her husband Bill of Surprise, Arizona and Betty Lafayette of Cornwall. He is survived by one brother, Danny Devoid and his wife Dana of Georgia as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Robin Devoid in infancy and his Brother; Robert Devoid. Roderick was born on February 4, 1956 in Southington, CT the son of Roderick and Janet (Chamberlain) Devoid Sr. He attended Addison County area schools. He was employed as a custodian by the Lodge at Otter Creek. He was very active in his faith with the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in East Middlebury. He volunteered operating the sound system there. He was a gardener, he enjoyed fixing electronics and was just a helpful and good hearted man. Services are still pending at this time. Burial will be private and at a later time. Arrangements are under the direction of Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home.
