Middlebury- Robert L. Zern passed away unexpectedly Wednesday January 13, 2010. He was born in Burlington, VT on September 23, 1964 the son of Lawrence W. Zern and Ellen (Sears) Zern. Robert was a graduate of Middlebury Union High School. He loved to hunt and watch NASCAR, he was also a former member of Sons of American Legion. He was employed for R.K. Miles in Middlebury. He is survived by his mother Ellen (Sears) Zern, and several aunts and uncles. Robert was predeceased by his father Lawrence W. Zern. A private graveside service will be held in the spring.
