Brandon, VT Robert Raymond Reed Mr. Robert Raymond Reed, 83, died Wednesday July 5, 2006 at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph after a long illness. He was born September 4, 1922 in Rutland, VT the son of the late William & Abby (Bump) Reed. He enlisted with the United States Army during WW II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 765 of Hancock and the American Legion Post # 55, of Brandon. He is survived by his wife, Gail (Kinsman) Reed, of Brandon, his sons, Maynard Reed Sr., of Hancock, Fabian Reed, of Bradenton, Fl, James Reed, of Philadelphia, Mi his step-son, Adam Washburn, of Bethel, his Daughter Jane Lyle, of Bridport, and his step-daughter, Shawn Davis, Winter Garden, Fl, his 13 grandchildren and his 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his 1st wife Beatrice (Foley) Reed in November 17, 1997 and by a grandson. Visiting hours will be on Friday July 7, 2006 from 6-8 PM at Sanderson Funeral Service in Middlebury. Grave side services will be held on Saturday July 8, 2006 at 2 PM in Hancock Cemetery in Hancock. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Brandon Rescue Squad @ P.O.
