Sudbury, VT Mr. Robert B. Cook
Robert Bucklin Cook, 78, died Saturday, August 23, 2008 at his home in Sudbury.
He was born March 26, 1930 in Rutland the son of Raymond & Ruth (Bucklin) Cook. He was a Graduate of Brandon High School class of 1948.
Bob was well known for his many years of family farming and in recent years as the Road Commissioner for the Town of Sudbury. His interests include Vermont Life, raising his animals and many years of Horse Pulling.
He was very active in town affairs serving as Selectman, school director and Road Commissioner.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Yvette (Pominville) Cook, his six children, Joanne Keith, of Rutland, Raymond Cook & his wife Eileen, of Sudbury, Thomas Cook, of Sudbury, Elaine Cook, of Sudbury, Patricia (cook) Walton, of Sudbury, David Cook & his wife Kate, of Brandon. His sister, Joan (Cook) Parks, of Daytona Beach, FL, also by many grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
Roberts wishes were to be remembered in life. His family is honoring his wishes to have no services or calling hours.
The family wishes to thank all who have visited and called upon the family during this time.
