Robert F. Boise 75, died early Wednesday morning December 18, 2013 after a short illness at the VA Hospital in White River Jct Vermont. He was born February 2, 1938 in Middlebury the son of the late Leonard and Alice (Bolduc) Boise. Robert entered the United States Air Force on his 17th birthday and served in Japan, Texas and Ethan Allen Air Force Base. Bob was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and also the American Legion in Middlebury Post # 27 and also the V.F.W. of Middlebury Post # 7823; he enjoyed fishing and was an avid car enthusiast. He started work as an over the road truck driver after his military service living in Texas and Virginia moving back to Vermont and working for 24 years for J. P. Carrara and Sons as a truck driver. Most recently he worked at Martins Hardware in Middlebury. Survivors are his siblings, Jacqueline Berard and husband Raymond of St. George, Betty Choiniere and husband Mark, of Bristol, Raymond L. Boise and wife Theresa of Middlebury, Roger Boise and wife Wilma of New Haven and Rodney Boise and wife Deanna of New Haven also by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and by a son Francis Boise. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday December 20, 2013 at 1 P.M. at St. Marys Catholic Church. The Rev. William Beaudin as celebrant. Burial will be at a later date in St. Marys Cemetery. Visiting hours will be private.
