Richard H. Dodge, 63, passed away at home in Bridport, VT on September 30, 2007, from a long battle with cancer. He was born November 23, 1943, in South Royalton, VT, the son of George M. Dodge and Arlene C. Dodge. Survivors include his wife, Joanne T. Dodge of Bridport, VT; daughter, Tammy Dodge of Derby, VT; brother, Theodore Dodge of Norfolk, VA; brother, Harry Dodge of South Royalton, VT; sister, Marie Huggins of Richmond, VA; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousin. Richard loved camping, boating, dancing, taking photographs and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of The Elks Club in Bellows falls, VT and The Moose Club in Claremont, NH. Before he got sick Richard was self-employed with SI Control Technologies. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 13, at The Bridport Congregational Church.
