East Middlebury Richard W. Brock
Richard W. Brock 86, died early Sunday morning February 7, 2010 at his residence in East Middlebury.
He was born February 21, 1923 in Auburn, NY the son of the late Walter B. & Mabel (Chapin) Brock. He attended local schools in the Mountain Lake Park, Maryland area and was a Graduate of Middlebury College.
He was a United States Army Veteran having served in WW II.
He married the love of his life Bunny (Marion Murray) on June 13, 1944 at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Middlebury.
Richard was a Data Processing Manager for Village Super Markets in Springfield, NJ for many years.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed playing cards, working on and programming computers and enjoyed hiking and spending time with his family.
Survivors are his wife Marion (Murray) Brock, of East Middlebury, his four children, Susie Martell & her husband Richard, of East Middlebury, Christopher Brock & his wife Marilyn, of Manorville, NY, Jason Brock & his wife Donna, of Hackettstown, NJ and Kimberly Brock, of Tinton Falls, NJ.; his two sisters, Marian See and Edith Brock, by his seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents and his two brothers, Alvin & Lawrence Brock and his sister Dorothy Leighton.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday February 10, 2010 at 11 AM with calling hours from 10 Am till the time of the service at Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home 117 South Main Street Middlebury.
Burial will be at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home.
