Middlebury-Rejean E. Morin 80, died Thursday morning December 23, 2010 at his residence after a brief illness.
Born August 24, 1930 in Whiting, he was the son of the late Leo P. and Josephine (Denis) Morin.
Rejean was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Middlebury. He was a kennelman and groomer for Middlebury Animal Hospital for over 30 years. Rejean enjoyed cross word puzzles, family outings and gatherings and community yard sales. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
Rejean was a veteran having served with the Unites States Army in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his children, Oral Morin of Middlebury, David Morin of Middlebury, Jan Morin and his wife Sherry of Port Henry, NY, Joyce Dupoise and her husband Craig of Salisbury and Robert Morin and his wife Heather of Salisbury; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Pauline Cloutier of Salisbury, Aline Lubinski of Colchester, Doris Racine of Las Vegas, Nev., and Yvette Blair of Essex and one brother, Robert Morin of VA.
He was predeceased by his parents; his beloved wife Arlene A. Morin who died October 30, 2010, one daughter Kathy Houle, grandson Abraham Seeley, and a brother Marcel Morin.
A celebration of his life will be held January 15, 2011 at 3 PM at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Exchange St., Middlebury.
