Reginald Nadeau of Bridport passed away peacefully May 4th, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 6th, 1932 son of Robert and Edith (Jackson) Nadeau. Reg is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years Arline (Dayton) Nadeau; their daughters Valerie Bourgeois and her husband Steven of Bridport, Victoria Nadeau-Trahan and her husband Paul of Colchester, Vanessa Gallagher and her husband Brian of East Montpelier and 5 grandchildren, Leslie, Christina and Matthew Bourgeois and Callista and Carmen Gallagher. Reg was a master carpenter and enjoyed fishing, boating, playing cards and reading. He served in the US Air Force, Air National Guard of Vermont and was a member of the Bridport Fire Department. At his request there will be no calling hours. A private family gathering will be held at the convenience of the family. The family wishes to thank his medical staff for his care.
