Salisbury, VT Mr. Raymond O. Bourdeau Mr. Raymond O. Bourdeau, 75, died Friday evening June 5, 2009 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington after a long illness. He was born September 28, 1933 in Orwell, the son of Late Oscar & Dorothy (Beeman) Bourdeau. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Shoreham High School. Raymond married the love of his life Leona Mitchell on June 28, 1952 in Brandon. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Middlebury, a former member of the Knights of Columbus and a former member of the East Middlebury Fire Department having served 15 yrs. He was formerly employed as the sales Manager for Foster Motor for 37 Yrs . Raymond was an avid hunter, a great car salesman and enjoyed going to garage sales, auctions, antiquing, snowmobiling, spending fourteen winters in Fort Myers Florida until his failing health would not let him travel. He especially enjoyed family get-togethers and cookouts. Survivors include his wife Leona (Mitchell) Bourdeau, of Salisbury, his son, Rodney Bourdeau & his wife Brenda, of Middlebury, his daughter, Linda Bourdeau, of Stephenville, TX, by his sister Nance Munson, of Panton, by his three grandchildren, Jared Bourdeau & his fianc Amber Frazier, of Salisbury, Katie Downs & her fianc Jason Davis, of Pittsford and Morgan Downs, of Stephenville, TX, by his two step-grandchildren, Stephen Norris & his wife Jessy, of Bridport and Laura Peck & her husband Mike, of Speculator, NY, by his five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & Nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday June 10, 2009 at 11 Am at the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home. The Rev. Andre Houle Will Officiate. Visiting hours will be held from 10 Am till the time of the service at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery in East Middlebury. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Addison County Home Health @ P.O.
