Obituary

Randall M. Quesnel Jr. 36, died Tuesday evening July 10, 2018 at Porter Medical Center as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born June 2, 1982 in Middlebury the son of Randall M. Quesnel Sr. and Jean (Hamlin) Quesnel. Randy was a graduate of Middlebury Union High School, class of 2000 and graduated from Vermont Technical College in 2003. He was married to Becky (Pidgeon) Quesnel on November 6, 2010. In 2010 he established See Green Farm LLC, which he owned and operated in Salisbury and in Cornwall, VT. Randy was also on the board of directors for the American Lineback Cattle Registry Inc. Randy had sparkly blue eyes, unmatched quick wit and an infectious smile or laugh that could always be found. He enjoyed farming, animals (particularly lineback cows), wide open spaces, petting "his cat" Dixie, the local NASCAR pool, watching his TV programs, traveling to the desert and loving his wife Becky (affectionately known as "baby") and looked forward to his daily hugs from his mom whom he loved dearly. Randy had a very special relationship with his grandparents, Paul and Annette Hamlin of Middlebury, that gave him much joy. He was also the self-proclaimed "Lineback Champion of the universe and beyond." For those of you who were lucky enough to have been given a nickname by Randy, please know that was a sign of his love. Survivors are his wife Becky (Pidgeon) Quesnel of North Ferrisburgh, his parents Randall Sr. and Jean Quesnel of Salisbury, by his brother, Ricky Quesnel and his wife Alice of Shoreham, by his sister Virginia Gillett of Vergennes, by his in-laws Arlan and Donna Pidgeon of Leicester, by his brother-in-law Scott Pidgeon and his wife Jill.
