Middlebury, VT Ralph A. Elliott Jr., Ralph A. Buddy Elliott Jr. 84, died Thursday Morning July 28, 2011 at Helen Porter Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. He was born October 26, 1926 in Middlebury the son of Ralph A. & Emily (Birdsall) Elliott Sr. He attended local schools. Buddy was a member and regular attendee of the Congregational Church of Middlebury For years he worked at the Middlebury Inn, and was known for his long walks through the town of Middlebury visiting along the way. He loved to eat out especially at Rosies Restaurant and Green Peppers. He is survived by his nephew, James Miller, and his niece, Emily Gronberg and her children of Ohio; also his cousins, Pauline Renaud, of Middlebury and her children and Janet Selleck of Salisbury and her children. Buddy was predeceased by his parents, by his sister, Maxine Miller. Funeral service will be held on Monday August 1, 2011 at 11 A.M. at the Middlebury Congregational Church. The Rev Andy Nagy-Benson will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Greenwood Cemetery in Bristol, A reception will follow the burial at the fellowship hall at the Middlebury Congregational Church.
