WEYBRIDGE- Alice (Hayes) Quesnel, 90, died peacefully Sunday, July 25, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Brandon March 26, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Walter R., Sr. and Florence (Bashaw) Hayes. Alice was a graduate of Brandon High School, class of 1938 and attended Rutland Business College. She was employed at the former Vermont Drug Inc. (Rexall Stores) in both Brandon and Middlebury from 1938 through 1952. She later worked at Middlebury College in the accounting office for 20 years. She married Noe J. Quesnel on November 26, 1951. He predeceased her on February 15, 1987. Surviving family members include one son, Michael R. Quesnel of Weybridge; two daughters, Denise A. Heath and her husband David of Bristol and Louise V. Quesnel of Weybridge; three grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Duane (Elenita) Jennings of Brandon; by her sister-in-law Alice Charlebois, of Burlington and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a sister, Patricia (Hayes) Martin in 1974 and two brothers, Thomas W. Hayes in 1940 and Walter R. Hayes, Jr. in 1993. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Wednesday at St. Marys Church with the Rev. William R. Beaudin, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Middlebury..
