Phillip R. Johnson 63, died after a long illness, November 10, 2013 at the Vermont Respite Home in Williston.
He was born December 27, 1949 in Middlebury the son of Andrew and Evangelyn (Duncan) Johnson. He was a graduate of Bristol High School and also attended Phillips Exeter Academy and Lowell Technical College.
He worked for many years at The A Johnson Co. in Bristol, and later ran his own computer services business. He enjoyed reading, building computers and tinkering with machinery and equipment. Phillip was an avid Boston sports fan and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Ann (Degan) Johnson, his sons Nathaniel Johnson of Vernon, CT & Benjamin Johnson and wife Julia Gloviczki of Lexington, KY, by his father Andrew F. Johnson of New Haven, by his brothers, David F. Johnson and wife Pamela of Shelburne and Kenneth D. Johnson and wife Anne Majusiak of Bristol, by his sister Carolyn J. Sayre of Evanston, IL. He was predeceased by his mother.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Saturday November 16, 2013 from 12 P.M. until 2 P.M. at the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 2P.M. The Rev. David Cray Pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church will officiate.
Contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
