MIDDLEBURY- Pauline M. (Seguin) Bilodeau, 80, formerly of Whiting, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Helen Porter Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia.
Born in Whiting February 27, 1932, she was the daughter of Aime and Gracia (Quesnel) Seguin.
She married Gaston L. Bilodeau in 1951 and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage. He predeceased her on January 26, 2012. They owned and operated the Bilodeau Farm in Whiting until their retirement in 1993 when they moved to Middlebury.
Pauline was a member of St. Marys Church of Middlebury.
She will always be remembered as a loving and dedicated wife and a supportive and loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, reading, puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving family members include her children, David Bilodeau and his wife Julie of Whiting, Lisette Ladd and her husband Charlie of Cornwall, Robert Bilodeau and his wife Shelley of Whiting, Pierre Bilodeau and his wife Sue of Whiting and Janine Levesque and her husband Mark of Middlebury; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; two sisters, Ange-Aimee Martin and her husband Fernand of Somerville, MA and Anita Bilodeau of Whiting; her brother and sister-in-laws, Rita Bilodeau, Marcel Bilodeau, Firmain and Clarice Bilodeau, Paul and Judy Bilodeau, Louise and George Evarts; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a son, Michael Bilodeau; brothers-in-law, Laval Bilodeau, Germain Bilodeau and Henry Bilodeau and a sister-in-law, Carmen Bilodeau.
Calling hours will be held Friday, March 16, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, 117 South Main St., Middlebury.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Saturday, March 17, 2012 at St. Marys Church, Middlebury with the Rev. William R. Beaudin, pastor, as celebrant. The graveside committal service for both Gaston and Pauline will follow in St. Marys Cemetery.
