Patricia F. Forbes 76, of Middlebury died on October 11, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice, following a long illness. Patricia was born on July 25, 1936 in Brandon, VT, the daughter of the late Francis and Grace Fassett. On December 1, 1962 she married Stuart Craig Forbes, Stuart died on September 5, 2006.For the majority of her life Patricia served her family as a homemaker and she enjoyed couponing, shopping, gardening and spending time with her children and great grandchildren. She is survived by her sons; Gary Forbes of Middlebury and Michael Forbes and his wife Kim of Bristol. She is also survived by her Grandchildren; Erin Forbes of Starksboro and Wyatt Forbes of Orwell, Riley Forbes, Sawyer Forbes and Sam Forbes of Bristol. She is also survived by her step grandchildren; Jesse Meader and Page Hallock. She is survived by her great granddaughter Aubrey Rublee. She was predeceased by her husband Stuart Forbes and her brother Edwin Fassett Graveside Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on October 16, 2012 at the Case Street Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday October 15, from 6-8 P.M at the Sanderson Ducharme Funeral Home.
