Patricia J. Charbonneau , 70 of Bridport, died Wednesday morning February 20, 2013 at her home following a long illness. Patricia J. Charbonneau was born on October 24, 1942 in Crown Point, NY the daughter of the late Richard and Myrtle (Burt) Burgey. She graduated Vergennes Union High School and on May 21, 1961 she married Thomas Charbonneau at St. Peters church in Vergennes. She was a stay at home mom for many years and then worked as a care giver at Helen Porter Nursing Home. She also worked at the Middlebury Inn as the Head Housekeeper until her retirement. She was an avid reader until her vision became too poor and then she enjoyed audio books she loved cheering on the Red Sox, Patriots and the Philadelphia Flyers. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Thomas A. Charbonneau. She is survived by her five children Lisa Quesnel, Timothy Charbonneau, Daniel Charbonneau, Darcy Pientka, Rachel Valyou; her four grandchildren Sarah Larocque, Jamie Quesnel, Sydney and Simon Pientka; and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother John Burgey and sister Dorothy Sipe. A gathering in celebration of the life of Patricia J. Charbonneau will be held Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the American Legion in Vergennes. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Service.
