Olivia Mae Scott 16, a Junior at Mount Abraham Union High School passed away unexpectedly Wednesday October 09, 2013.
She was born August 18, 1997 in Middlebury the daughter of Peter Watson Scott and Stephanie Manning and resided on River Rd in New Haven with her father and sister.
Olivia absolutely loved being outdoors. She was an exceptional athlete and played on the varsity Field Hockey Team as well as the Basketball and Softball teams at Mount Abraham Union High School. Olivia was a successful deer hunter and enjoyed hunting with her father and riding her four wheeler around the trails on the family farm. She loved taking pictures of nature as a hobby and wanted to be a photographer. Olivia worked at The Lodge at Otter Creek in Middlebury as a member of the wait staff. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh brightened everyones day. She was a serial photo bomber and loved to make people laugh with a funny face or a joke and was always quick with a snappy comeback. She will be greatly missed by everyone whos life she touched.
She is survived by her Father, of New Haven, her mother of Colchester, by her sister Bethany P. Scott, and Bethanys son Bentley Watson Luong and his father Nathan Luong of New Haven, by her Paternal grandparents, Watson A. and Debra R. Scott of New Haven, by her maternal grandmother Arthea Leggett of Colchester, by her half sister Carly Rose Cram of Bristol, by her aunts Dione Scott of Pittsford, Amy Manning of Brandon and Katie Perone of CT, by her uncles, Martin Manning of MA and Charles Whittemore of New Haven. She is also survived by numerous cousins, friends and of course her beloved teammates.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday October 14, 2013 from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, 117 South Main Street Middlebury, VT.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday October 15, 2013 at 6 P.M. at Mount Abraham High School, at 220 Airport Drive, Bristol.
