Norman G. Miller, 87, a forty three year Shoreham resident, passed away at home suddenly on Monday, November 16. He was born in Boston, MA on June 9, 1928, the son of the late George D. and Georgina M. (Deurden) Miller.
He attended local schools and served in the U S Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an animal handler after many years of service. Norman enjoyed building model airplanes and cars as well as gardening and fishing.
He was predeceased by his wife Charlene (Lilly) Miller. He is survived by two sons; Bruce and Brian, both of Shoreham and his daughter, Karen Miller of Rutland. He will be sadly missed by three grandchildren; Heather Hanfield, Joshua Harrington, and Brittany Hinckley; six great grandchildren, Riley, Layni, Sadie, Logan, Thorron, and Zara, great step grandson, Kenny Burt and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by great grandson Armond Burke.
Relatives and friends are requested to meet on Saturday, November 21 for a 2pm graveside service at Mountain View Cemetery in Orwell. There are no calling hours.
