Obituary

Shoreham - Nathaniel Ketcham, 11, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday March 12, 2006. He was born in Houston, Texas on April 26, 1994 to Matthew and Deborah (Sears) Ketcham. Nate was a loving son and an avid athlete. He participated in basketball, wrestling, skiing, football, golf and lacrosse. He was a sixth grader at Mary Hogan Elementary and had attended Bridport Elementary School. Nate valued his many friends, teachers and coaches. His ready smile and loving manner touched many lives and will be greatly missed. Nate is survived by his mother Deborah, father Matthew and stepmother, Tammy, his brothers Peter, Jeremy, Ian and Dallas, his maternal grandfather, Walter Sears and wife Liz of Cornwall and his paternal grandparents, Larned and Micki Ketcham of Hinesburg, Aunts and Uncles, David and Susie Sears of Cornwall, Dave and Roxanne Dillon of Warren, Jeannie Ketcham of Hinesburg, Kim Ketcham of Hinesburg, Jasen Ketcham of Houston, Nickalus Ketcham of San Francisco. Cousins, Megan and Alex Sears, Zoe and Kai Harvey, Jamie Ketcham and Nickalus Ketcham Jr. as well as several great aunts and uncles. He was preceeded in death by his maternal grandmother Charlotte Sears. To honor the importance of sports in Nates life, a contribution may be made to Club Midd Lacrosse, c/o Grover Usilton, National Bank of Middlebury, P.O. Box 189, Middlebury, VT 05753 Visiting hours will take place at Sanderson Funeral Home, Middlebury, VT on Wednesday March 15 from 5-8 pm.
