Bridport, VT Monique L. Boudreau Monique L. Boudreau 80, passed away in the presence of her family, Friday morning October 19, 2012 at Burlington Health and Rehabilitation Center in Burlington. Born December 30, 1931 in Dunham Quebec, Canada the daughter of the late Agenor and Leonne (St. Onge) Plouffe. Monique was a graduate of Teacher's School in St. John, Quebec and attended Trinity College in Burlington while working at St. Michaels College. Monique was a member of St. Bernadettes Catholic Church, she enjoyed sewing, knitting and watching her grandson play hockey. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Edward, of Bridport, by her sons, Michael Boudreau and his wife Debi, of Naples, FL and Kenneth Boudreau, of Hinesburg, by her daughters, Joanne Doorey and her husband Stephen, of Milton and Lisa Campbell and her husband Ron, of Milton, by her brother, Jean Noel Plouffe and his wife Mary, of Bridport, by her sister Aliette Browe and her husband Kenneth, of Jericho, by her sister-in-law Shirley Plouffe, of Addison, by her grandchildren, Nicole OSullivan, Michael Boudreau II, Sarah Newton, Alexis Boudreau, and her grandchildren she fondly named The Three Musketeers, Raymond Merola III, Ashley & Nathan Campbell, and four great grandchildren. She also leaves behind Raymond Merola, Jr., father of her grandson, a special cousin, Helen McCullough and aunt, Yvette Foucher both of Canada and numerous nieces, nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Aldee Plouffe. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Burlington Health & Rehab for their compassionate care and all they have done, and to her roommate Judy with whom she created a special bond with. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 23, 2012 at 11 A.M. at St. Bernadettes Catholic Church. The Rev. William Beaudin will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Bridport Central Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to her grandson Raymonds hockey team: Milton Youth Hockey Association (MYHA) PO Box 742, Milton VT 05468. Arrangements are under the direction of the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home.
