Mrs. Mildred E. Goodrich Mildred E. Goodrich 78, died Sunday morning April 5, 2009 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 19, 1930 in Chittenden, VT the daughter of the late Louis Sr. & Alice (Lathrop) Phelps. Mildred married her husband Donald Chief Goodrich September 3, 1949 in Chittenden, VT. Together with her husband they ran the Goodrich Farm in Salisbury. She was a member of the Salisbury Congregational Church. Mildred loved crafting, quilting, gardening and spending time with her family. She also had a love of animal especially her cats. Mildred is survived by her husband, of Salisbury, her son, Ernie Goodrich & his wife Leeann of Salisbury, her three daughters, Donna Lawton & her husband Henry of Bridport, Debbie Smith & her husband Gary of Salisbury and Penny Supernaw & her husband Scott of Salisbury, by her ten grandchildren and her five great-grandchildren, by her brothers, Louis Phelps Jr. & his wife Marne of Pittsford and Charles Phelps Sr. of Springfield, by her sisters, Alice Durovich of Springfield, Faith Pratt & her husband Harley of Proctor, also by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother John Phelps and her sister Mary Loomis and by her half sister Bertha Clarke. There will be no visiting hours. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday April 8, 2009 at 1 PM at the Salisbury Congregational Church. The Rev. John Grivetti pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in West Side Cemetery in Salisbury.
