Mildred Leonora Fogel, 76, of Middlebury, died Monday afternoon, December 31, 2007 at Spruce Gardens in Vergennes, VT. Millie was born August 31, 1931 in Rutland, VT, the daughter of Ernest W. Waite and Alta M. (Young) Waite, in Rutland, VT. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren . She also enjoyed needlework and quilting and was an avid doll collector. She was a member of the Middlebury Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and she was active in the Relief Society. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Samuel Fogel, her seven children, Mrs. Anne Buck and her husband, Peter, of Weybridge, Mrs. Deborah Willard and her husband, Ernie, of Woodbridge, VA, Mrs Lillian Godwin and her husband, Brian of Falcon, CO, Susan Morris of Brooklyn, NY, John Morris of Middlebury, Henry Morris and his wife, Collette, of Carlisle, PA, Martha Carson of Newark, NJ, 21 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, 3 brothers, several neices and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband of 21 years, Henry D. Morris. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 133 Valley View Drive in Middlebury. Viewing will be from 12:00 pm- 12:45 pm with a funeral service to be held at 1:00pm. Burial will be in the Spring at the discretion of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Addison County Home Health and Hospice at P.O. Box 654, Middlebury, VT 05753, or to the activities fund for the residents a Spruce Gardens, 1 Alden Place, Vergennes, VT 05491, in memory of Mildred L. Fogel.
