Middlebury, Vt Mrs. Mildred Dorsey Mrs. Mildred Dorsey, 93, died Thursday December 1, 2005 at Helen Porter Nursing Home in Middlebury. She was born August 12, 1912 in St. Leonard, Maryland the daughter of the late Bernard & Rosalie (Ward) Johnson. She attended local schools in Maryland and graduated from Western Maryland College, now known as McDaniel College in 1930 with a degree in education. Mildred was a teacher for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother in which her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Middlebury, and St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Prince Frederick, Md Mildred is survived by her daughter Mrs. Jackie Coates, of Warren, VT, her son, Mr. George W Dorsey III, of Cornwall, Vt, her five grandchildren, Diane Coates, of Washington, D.C., Travis Dorsey, of Stanford, Ct, Millie Dorsey and Caleb Dorsey, both Attending college in Montana, and Emma Dorsey, attending college in Andover, Ma. She was predeceased by her husband Mr. George W. Dorsey Jr. whom she married in St. Paul Episcopal Church in Prince Frederick, Md in 1935.
