Michelle Lynn Wright of Addison, VT passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 8, 2018 in her home. Michelle was born in Middlebury on February 21, 1973 the daughter of Tom and June (Torrey) Obst. She was a graduate of Middlebury Union High School class of 1991. Michelle was a long time and current employee of Shaws Supermarket in Middlebury. On September 20, 2008 she married Todd Wright. They had one son, Ryan Wright who was the pride and joy of their lives. Michelle and Todd loved watching Ryan play sports, especially when he was on the basketball court. Michelle was a very loving, kind spirited person and full of life. Ryan says that his mom was also funny, a good cook and intelligent. Michelle will be deeply and lovingly missed by her family, friends and her beloved dog Bella. Michelle is survived by her husband Todd of ten years and their son Ryan, her parents Tom and June Obst, her sister Vicky Welch and nieces Maria, Serena, Kayla and Kaylas daughter Alaina. Michelle was predeceased by her grandparents Forrest and Iola Torrey. A celebration of Michelles life will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11am at Mas Last Chance camp, 535 Torry Lane, Shoreham.
