Barre Matthew Michael Racine, Matthew Michael Racine, 22 of Barre, Vermont; formally of Middlebury, Vermont died unexpectedly on Tuesday January 24, 2006 from a car accident. Matthew was born in Springfield, Vermont on February 28, 1983 the son of Michael A. and Barbara E, Racine of Middlebury, Vermont. Matt graduated from Middlebury High School in 2001 and attended Castleton State College. He is survived by his parents Mike and Barb Racine, his brother Adam, his loving fiance Kayla Johnson and her son Gage, his Uncle Ron of Colchester Vt., his Uncles Yvon, Raymond, Roger, his Aunt Lucy and his Grandparents Emile and Dolores Racine all of Las Vegas, Nevada, and many great aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandparents Bob and Betty Hoose formally of Williston, Vermont. Visiting hours will be at the Sanderson Funeral Home in Middlebury on Friday January 27, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday January 28. 2006 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Middlebury. A graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the MUHS Boys Lacrosse Program, Charles Avenue, Middlebury, Vt or the Addison County Humane Society, 236 Boardman Street, Middlebury, Vt. 05753.
