MARY JANE SHOOK MIDDLEBURY-Mary Jane Shook, 90, of Jayne Court, died Sunday February 18, 2007 at Helen Porter Healthcare, Middlebury. Born in Pittsburgh, PA June 21, 1916, she was the daughter of Felix and Catherine (Pogozelis) Scott. Mary Jane was apartment manager at Weybridge Apartments in Middlebury. Jayne Court in Middlebury was named in her honor. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church where she was very active in the church. Family members include one daughter, Sandra M. Sprague of Port Henry, NY; one stepdaughter, Rosemarie Rogers of Berona, PA and two granddaughters, Melanie Sprague of Lake George, NY and Lindsay Sprague of Malta, NY. She was predeceased by her husband Harold F. Sprague in 1972 and by several brothers and sisters. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 PM Thursday at St. Mary Church with the Rev. Justin Baker, Pastor, as celebrant. Spring burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Sanderson Funeral Service, 117 South Main Middlebury.
