Bristol, VT Mary E. Shackett Mrs. Mary E. Shackett 69, died early Thursday morning September 30, 2010 at her residence. She was born November 19, 1940 in South Burlington, the daughter of Leonard K. & Beatrice M. (Soulia) Roberts. Mary was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo, cards, Yahtzee and playing slot machines, and was an avid Photographer. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling and wintering in Florida. She is survived by her 3 children, James B. Jennings, of Bristol, Kenneth A. Jennings Jr., of Sarasota, FL and Laurie Goodsell & her husband Andy, of Union City, Michigan. By her sister, Barb Marquis, of Cornwall, by her brothers, John Jack Roberts, of Vergennes, Richard Roberts, of Melbourne, FL, Paul Roberts, of Burlington and Leonard K. Roberts Jr., of Troutville,Virginia. By her eight grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald J. Shackett, who died February 25, 2010, also by her brothers, William & David Roberts and by one great-grandchild. Visiting hours will be on Monday, October 4, 2010 from 5-7 PM at the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home. Located at 117 South Main Street, Middlebury, VT. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday October 5, 2010 at 11 AM in Fairdale Cemetery on Creek Road in Middlebury. The Rev. Pierre A. Lavallee, Pastor of St. Ambrose Catholic Church will officiate.
