Middlebury, VT Mary E. Frankie Mary E. (Marunjak) Frankie passed away at the age of 92 on November 29, 2007 at Helen Porter Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, Middlebury, Vermont. Mary was born in Wadesville, PA. She married Nicholas J. Frankie on July 28, 1934. He predeceased her in 1972. Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Martin & Patricia Frankie, of Middlebury, VT and her daughter and son-in-law Mary & Joseph Bonnet, of Ashburn, VA, a grandson and his wife, Brian M. Frankie & Michelle Packer, of Houston, TX, and several nieces. Mary raised her family in Tenafly, NJ. Mary was a wonderful homemaker, cook and made many guests welcome at her home. She also enjoyed antiquing, and was active in scouting and her church. Her nieces fondly remember many visits to her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday December 5, 2007 at 11 AM at St. Marys Catholic Church, Middlebury. The Rev. Justin Baker will officiate. There will be no visitation hours. The family is grateful to the staffs of Cathedral Square Assisted Living, Burlington, VT and Helen Porter Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, Middlebury, VT. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Marys School, 86 Shannon St, Middlebury, VT 05753. Arrangements are under the direction of Sanderson Funeral Service.
