Martha G. Evarts 88, died Friday February 27, 2015 at Helen Porter Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born January 6, 1927 in Randolph, VT the daughter of the late Howard and Louise (Wheeler) Abel. Martha married Vance F. Evarts Sr. She enjoyed giving piano lessons in her earlier years and was an avid reader and enjoyed her flower gardens and also watching DVD movies. She is survived by her sons, Alan Evarts and his companion Janet Welch, Craig Evarts and Vance F. Evarts Jr . Also by her two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Vance F. Evarts Sr. in 1992 A graveside service will be held in the spring in Prospect Cemetery in Vergennes. There will be no services at this time.
