Marie J. Whealton, 83 of Weybridge, VT, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Helen Porter Rehabilitation Center in Middlebury, VT. Marie was born August 12, 1935, and lived in Baltimore, MD for most of her life. In 2004, after the passing of Warren, her husband of 46 years, Marie moved to Weybridge. While in Baltimore, Marie was very active and a Life Member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 148 in Essex, MD and she worked the kitchen for every event. She loved to cook, bake and sew. While living in Weybridge, Marie was an avid participant at Project Independence and enjoyed her time there with her many friends, both participants and staff. She loved her family and her grandchildren brought her a special kind of joy. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Warren, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl and her husband, Bruce Paquin of Weybridge, who lovingly cared for her since her move to Weybridge. She is also survived by her son, Warren (Butch) Whealton, and his wife, Sandra of Thurmont, MD; her daughter Valorie Monshower, of Conway, SC and her grandchildren Brady and Lauren Whealton, Alex Monshower, Tyler & Renee Harmon; and her 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Cannatello; her brother, Al Bloch and his wife Ann, and her sister-in-law, Ida Hylton; along with many nieces and nephews.
