Margo enjoyed life to its fullest. She and her husband, Robert Birchard of over 51 years, took many trips with their kids and grandkids ranging from camping often in Maine, roadtrips to Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and Florida, to name a few, and cruises to the Caribbean. Margo and Robert also enjoyed their travels with their very dear friends, Sally and William McClintock. With the many jobs Margo had, being a school bus driver for over 40 years was the most rewarding. She drove 3 generations of families in many cases. Margo was also a counselor with the Middlebury Boy Scout Troop and successfully completed Order of the Arrow.

Margo was predeceased by her parents, Edson Garfield and Florence Wilkins; her brother, Edson Garfield; sister, Ruth Richards, sister, Dorothy Knox; and sister, Pauline OBrien. Margo leaves behind her husband, Robert Birchard; daughter, Lisa Bowdish (Michael); son, Lyle Birchard; grandsons: Brian, Kevin (wife Melissa) and Austin (wife, Christian) Bowdish, as well as Charlie and Shane Birchard; and four great grandchildren: Makenna, Carter, Everleigh, and Michael. She also leaves behind Sam and Tammy Richards along with nieces and nephews.
