Margaret Moulton Sullivan, age 88, died on October 12, 2015 at her residence in Middlebury.
She was born on April 18, 1927 in Newton, MA, the daughter of Jasper R. and Edith (Knight) Moulton.
Margaret, known as Peggy to all, was a member of the Salisbury Congregational Church and a former member of the D.A.R. Among other activities, she enjoyed gardening, card and board games (particularly Scrabble), quilting, playing piano, and cross word puzzles (especially the NY Times edition). She was a particularly avid bridge player and loved classical music.
She is survived by her son John Gibson and his wife Maria of Emeryville, CA, by her grandchildren Daniel Arnold and Matthew Gibson, by her stepchildren Beverlee Drury and Becky Sullivan, by her step grandchildren Chris and Tim Wright, by her nieces Mimi and Debbie Moulton, and by several great nieces and great nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband J. Edmund Sullivan, Jr., by her parents, by her brother John Moulton, and by two of her children, William C. Gibson, Jr. in 1996 and Judith Gibson Arnold in 2014.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 31, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at the Salisbury Congregational Church, with the Reverend John Grivetti officiating.
Burial will follow in the West Salisbury Cemetery.
