Middlebury- Margaret M. DAvignon Margaret M. DAvignon 79, passed away Friday afternoon August 10, 2018 at Porter Medical Center after a courageous battle with Cancer. She was born March 13, 1939 in Ferrisburgh, Vt the daughter of Walter H. and Hazel (Stearns) Malloy. Margaret married Clement DAvignon November 8, 1958. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and had a strong faith in God. Margaret enjoyed Crocheting, gardening, decorating for the holidays and cooking her favorite treats popcorn balls and peanut brittle. She is survived by three sons, Ricky Allen John DAvignon and Kevin M. DAvignon both of Middlebury and Allen J. DAvignon and his wife Lisa of Somers, WI; one daughter Carol D. Raymond and her husband Tom of Middlebury, by her siblings, William Malloy, Arnold Malloy, Walter H. Malloy Jr., Marlene LaRose, and Jane Aubin. Also by her ten grandchildren and her nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Also by her Sister-in-law and best friend Patricia DAvignon. She was predeceased by her parents, by her husband Clement DAvignon on July 28, 2014, by her sister Linda Malloy and her granddaughter Ashley DAvignon. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday August 14, 2018 at 10 A.M. at St. Marys Catholic Church, Middlebury with the Rev. Luke Austin as the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Monday August 13, 2018 from 4-6 P.M. at the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, located at 117 South Main Street, Middlebury. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association Vermont Affiliate at 77 Hegeman Ave, Colchester, VT 05446.
