Margaret A. (Midge) Cooke BRIDPORT Margaret A. Cooke 88, passed away on December 22, 2016 at the Residence at Otter Creek after a long illness. Born on February 9, 1928 in Middlebury VT., daughter of James and Doris (Walker) Guillow. Margaret retired after 30 years as office administrator with the Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service. Margaret was also a long time volunteer for Neat Repeats. Survivors include her son James Walker and his wife Marian of Bridport, VT., a sister Agnes Novak,grandchildren, Judi and William Walker and his wife Breaya, Great-grandchildren, Jordyn,Alex,Kayden and Breaylyn Walker, a nephew Grant Novak and his wife Martha. Stepchildren Gary Cooke and his wife Sharon, Stephen Cooke jr. and his wife Judith, Shelly Cooke, Katheryn Cooke and Ellen -Anne Ross and her husband Gary. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Stephen C. Cooke and a brother Ralph Guillow. A graveside service and burial will take place at Bridport Central Cemetery at a later date to be announced in the spring. The family would like to thank the staff at The Residence at Otter Creek and Addison County Home Health & Hospice for the excellent care they provided for Margaret.
