Marcel R. Page 87, died October 16, 2015 at Wintergreen Residential Care in Brandon. Born March 21, 1928 in Ontario Canada, the son of the late Alderic and Alexina (Bourdon) Page. Marcel was a member of St. Marys Catholic church and of the Knights of Columbus . He was a famer operating two farms in Whiting VT retiring in 1988. After retirement he started to truck Cattle to pass the time. Marcel enjoyed socializing with family and friends, farming and trucking. He is predeceased by his wife Fleur-Ange Page. He is survived by his children, Michael Page and wife Susan of Tracy, CA, Pierre Page also of Tracy, CA, Aime Page of Sterling, VA, Marie White and companion Bill Bearor of Whiting, Monita Page of Morrisville, VT, Ivon Page and wife Brenda of Summerfield, FL, Tina Beauchain and husband Clifford of Sterling, VA and Melody Ferry and husband John of Sterling, VA. Also by his sister, Cecille Sabourin and his brother Arthur Page, by his grandchildren, Aime Page Jr., Rene Page, Destinie Lima, Alan White, Zachary Neill, Nikayla Neill, Evan page, Nathan Page, Launa Beauchain, Leia Beauchain, Logan Beauchain and Grayson Ferry by his great-grandchildren, Landyn Lima, Kolton Page, Jayda Page and Lacie Page. He was predeceased by his brothers, Hormidas, Albert, Emile, Eugene, Rosaire, by his sisters, Eugenie, Irene, Yvonne, Jeanne-Aurore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday October 24th, 2015 at 10am at St. Marys Catholic Church, with the Rev. William Beaudin as the celebrant. Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Friday October 23rd from 5pm to 7pm at the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, located at 117 South Main Street, Middlebury. Burial will be in St. Genevieve Cemetery, Shoreham. Reception to follow at the Whiting Town Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to Whiting Fire and First Response.
