SHOREHAM Lyle Greenwood, 63, died Sunday, March 18th at his home with his family at his side.
Lyle was born February 9, 1949 in Bristol, CT. He was the son of the late Kenneth and Winifred (Ogle) Greenwood.
He worked at Middlebury College as a mason and carpenter. He was a very gifted man who has left examples of his brick and stone work in Addison County. His greatest love was the outdoors, thats where he felt most at peace. His gentle nature will be missed by all.
Lyle is survived by a brother, Kenneth and sister-in-law Joyce Greenwood, a sister April and brother-in-law Paul Beals. He also leaves a special sister-in-law, MaryAnn Greenwood who took exceptional care of him in his last four months. In addition, he also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends. A heartfelt thank you to Buzzy Hubbell for being such a wonderful friend and for all he did for Lyle during his illness.
He was predeceased by his wife Marguerite (Kelly) Greenwood who he married October 12, 1985, and also by his brother Arthur Greenwood.

A memorial service will be held at Shoreham Congregational Church on Saturday, March 31 at 2PM. Burial to follow in St. Genevieves Cemetery.
