Luna graduated from Gorham High in Gorham, NH and moved her family to Middlebury in 1957.
She was a proud member of the DAR and Concord, VT Historical Society. Luna spent many hours working on her genealogy and was always glad to share that information with others. She greatly admired the old fashioned ideas of family and make do or do without. She loved to tell and hear the stories of her youth and entertained her family many times with these same stories. She sewed beautiful quilts for each member of her family, and knit brightly colored socks. She also loved to read and play cards.
Luna was employed at Brandon Training School, Porter Hospital and lastly for Dr. Theodore Collier.
She was predeceased by her young son, Kevan, her parents, two brothers, one sister and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Lunas wishes were that no funeral services would be held.
She will be laid to rest with her son in Prospect Cemetery, East Middlebury. The family requests flowers be omitted . Memorial contributions made to Lunas favorite charity. The March of Dimes and any contributions to them would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
