Louise Lila Murray, 73, died early Saturday morning April 19, 2014 at her sons home in East Middlebury after a courageous battle with Breast Cancer.
Born September 24, 1940 in Burlington, VT, she was the daughter of the late Alfred James and Lila Mae (Aldrich) Davis.
Louise enjoyed her flower gardening, cooking big meals for her family, reading, shopping, scrap booking, photography and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors are her children, Debra Brouillard and husband Randy of Rochester, Marilyn Prouty and husband Glen of Cornwall, Dawn Murray of Rochester, Alan Murray of Georgia, Carl Murray and wife Kelley of Bristol and Eric Murray and wife Erika of East Middlebury. By her brothers, Larry Davis and wife Rita of New Haven and Fred Davis and wife Ellen of Poultney; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Robert Davis.
A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Prospect Cemetery in East Middlebury, with the Rev. Robert Borden officiating.
Family and friends are invited to join us for a Celebration of Life, Saturday May 17, 2014 at 1:00pm at Eric and Erika Murray's residence in East Middlebury.
